Safe Passage Along Lucas Valley Road
A
few years ago a group of citizens in north San Rafael formed a group
called Safe Passage for Lucas Valley Road and worked tirelessly to get
the installation of a sidewalk (where there was none) on the south side
of Lucas Valley Road between Las Gallinas and Los Gamos Road. The City
and County Public Works departments worked collaboratively to bring
this project to life, with the County successfully securing funding
through several sources. This will be a great improvement for
pedestrian safety and is a wonderful example of our community volunteers
in action!
